Our 1st and 2nd Place Awards
“We enjoyed the opportunity to collaborate with Page, Linbeck Construction, Kimley-Horn and Daktronics on the Smart Financial Centre sign and with Edifis Group, Acumen and Memorial Hermann on the Studemont Junction Sign,” says Gregg Hollenberg, President and CEO of National Signs.
“These two projects showcased the work of countless individuals, and the result was a stunning accomplishment. These signs are engineering feats, and it was an honor to be a part of their creation,” finished Hollenberg.
1st Place for the Smart Financial Centre Sign
National Signs can handle everything from concept to sign installation, including design and manufacturing. For clients who have their own design, engineering, or architectural resources, we will gladly share insights and assist with whatever is needed.
Smart Financial Centre, a 200,000 square foot venue in Sugar Land, Texas, had a design concept with their development partners. They decided to add a leading sign manufacturer to the team, to help bring their intricate design to life.
Our role was to engineer, manufacture and install their sign cost-effectively. And we accomplished the task!
The result was a unique 90-ft high structure with a 31-ft wide by 18-ft high electronic messaging center. This sign is one of the tallest LED display structures in Houston and attracts attention from miles around.
We were awarded the 1st place Designed by Others award and will to continue to collaborate with the other companies involved.
2nd Place for the Studemont Junction Sign
Studemont Junction is a mixed-use development located at the corner of Studemont Street and Interstate 10, in Houston, Texas. The first tenant, Memorial Hermann Convenient Care Center, needed a sign to improve awareness and attract patients.
Like Smart Financial Center, this facility already had a design team in place and wanted to ensure success by bringing in a signage expert.
We collaborated with their team to efficiently engineer their design concept and quickly manufactured and installed their unique signage.
National Signs was awarded a 2nd place Designed by Others award and will provide a 5-year parts and labor warranty to ensure it remains spectacular.
